ZHONE SKYZHONE-70
Overview
The SkyZhone-70 provides the means to dramatically reduce installation costs for video surveillance systems by removing the requirement for permits and electrical contractors for the installation of the typical video surveillance system. This often results in tremendous savings in both time and money. The traditional install can take months; with the SkyZhone-70, a new video surveillance system can be up and functioning within days.
Furthermore, the Skyzhone-70 reduces the cost of ongoing system maintenance by not requiring regular onsite visits to change UPS batteries for each camera site. With the SkyZhone-70's power of DSL, all power is generated at the central site, and no site level UPS maintenance is required.
In addition, the SkyZhone-70 greatly increases the distance from the central site to the camera. With a traditional analog CCTV or newer IP video based system, distance is typically limited to less than 300ft. With the SkyZhone-70, the distance can be up to 4 miles using IEEE 802.3ah EFM.
